The Air trades a little power for a much simpler retrofit. At 25 kW peak and 15 kW continuous it covers most tow and baggage tractor duty, and because it is air-cooled there is no pump, no radiator and no coolant routing to find room for on a vehicle that was never designed to carry them.
That matters most on a repower. Removing a diesel leaves you space where the engine was, not a tidy loom of coolant runs — and every line you do not have to plumb is a line that cannot leak or freeze on an apron in February.
Like the liquid-cooled 80V it comes as a 2-in-1 unit or as separate motor and drive. An integrated 3:1 reduction gearbox is available where the driveline needs the ratio built in rather than bolted on.
