The TD25 is a heavy tow tractor that spends most of its shift either pulling hard or sitting still with the engine running. The second half of that is where a diesel wastes most of its fuel and most of its service life, and it is the half an electric driveline simply deletes.
The kit repowers the vehicle rather than replacing it. The chassis, the cab and the hitch you already maintain stay; the engine, tank and exhaust come out, and an Actium motor, drive unit, harness, VCU and replacement instrument cluster go in on platform-specific mounts.
Which motor depends on the duty. The air-cooled 80V is the simplest install; the liquid-cooled 80V or the high-voltage 300 are there when the pull is harder or the fleet is moving to fast charging.
