Reduction gearbox
Planetary gearbox
Coaxial planetary reduction — input and output on the same axis, on the common Actium motor interface.
| Max input torque | 450 Nm |
| Max input speed | 9,000 rpm |
| Gear ratio | 3.09:1 |
A planetary set puts the output on the same axis as the input, so the gearbox adds length to the drive rather than width. Where a motor already sits in line with the axle, that is the reduction that fits without moving anything else.
It reduces 3.09:1 and is rated to 450 Nm and 9,000 rpm at the input. Both figures are input-side, so they compare directly with the offset unit.
It mounts on the common Actium motor interface, which is the point of specifying it here rather than sourcing one separately: the drive turns up as a single assembly with a known face, a known ratio and one part number.
